Serving cake to one another symbolizes your devotion to taking care of one another.
The tradition has evolved into serving the cake as dessert. Cakes come in all styles, colors, and flavors. Recently though, young couples have deviated from the tradition to offer cupcakes, doughnuts, cheesecake and even pies.
